Not every musician has inherited a good musical ear. With this feature those who need improvement can train their musical ear step by step.
But take your time! This can not be achieved overnight but only gradually. It is best to select a few notes – at the beginning perhaps only two. If you have surely figured out these, you can add other notes.
- With 'New' you can select the notes you want to practice.
- After a fingertip on 'Start' the first note will sound. Tip on the note, that you think you have heard. If you are not quite sure, you can let the note sound again by 'Repeat'.
- After you have chosen the note, it will be shown, if you were right. With a fingertip on the note you can hear it again.
- By choosing 'Next' the next note to be determined will sound.
The statistic will show you, which notes were determined quite well and which have to be improved. If necessary you can reduce the number of the notes and practice only those that you did not figure out so well.
Those, who master all notes very well, can go to the other octaves and thereby further improve their musical ear. The octave can be changed by the settings.
- Choose sound
With the settings you can choose the sound of the instrument that you usually play. Of course you can change the instrument any time.
By the way: the volume can be adjusted as usually on the smartphone.
The statistic will help you to find out, which notes or chords can be improved. The different levels in the bar diagram show you, how often a note had been played. The green part of the bar indicates, that the note or chord had been named right. The red part of the bar shows you, how often the note or chord had been misnamed. The bigger the red part of the bar is, the more should you practice this note or chord.
