The s.mart Songbook Online Importer allows you to import your song into the smartChord app comfortable via the browser of your computer.

Prerequisites:

• Your device and your computer must be connected to the same local network


• Supported browsers: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera. Not supported: Internet Explorer


• JavaScript has to be enabled on your browser

Steps:

• Go to the songbook and open 'Folder menu' -> 'New' -> 'Import'


• Activate 'Import online' in the 'Song import' screen


• Open the s.mart Songbook Online Importer in the browser of your computer: https://www.smartchord.de/song/import


• Enter the IP address of your device. It is the IP address shown below (e.g. 192.168.1.100)


• Paste your song or songs into the text area. If you want to import multiple songs at once, separate the songs by a line with the directive: {new_song}. If the name of a song isn't defined by a ChordPro directive, the first line is assumed to be the name


• Press 'Import'. The content of the text area will be send to smartChord. smartChord starts the screen 'Song import' on your device, where you can finalize the import


• If you can't get a connection, click 'Check connection'. Eventually, your browser asks you to accept smartChords self-signed certificate
